Its Official!!!

We are now the proud parents and Shae-Lee the proud sister of Jayda Bao Yen, its offical, and we couldnt be more thrilled.
Our day started off with all of us having breafast at the resort.   It has been pretty much the biggest meal of our day.  It has been hard for Shae-Lee to find something that she finds appealing, and I really cant blame her, there is not alot on our trip when it comes to food that I have found appealing at all.  I think we are just looking forward to coming home and eating a grilled cheese sandwich.  After breakfast, Shae-Lee could hardly stand to wait to go into the pool, so that is what we did, we spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon, playing and splashing in the pool.  I have yet to see other families, besides us and the other 2 families, vacationing at this resort, so it really is like having our own private pool, it has been quite nice!! 
Our ceremony date was scheduled for 4:30, so after spending most of our time outside and in the pool and at the beach,we needed to get dressed and get ready to go.  
We all met at the lobby and piled into the taxi.  We were all looking so pretty and handsome, but somehow squishing 6 adults, and 5 kids into a taxi on a humid sunny day, took all our glamour away.  The drive to the Department of Justice was approximataly 10 minutes away, this would be where we would officially sign our papers and everything would be official. After 4.5 years we were now minutes away.  We finally arrived and entered the concrete building where the official ceremony would take place.   As we entered, several people were already waiting for us, the Director of the orphanage and several others, I'm not really quite sure who they were.  We all sat down and waited.  There was still one person, that needed to arrive, the director from the Dept. of Justice, she was running late from a previous appointment. In the meantime, as we waited, we started signing many papers, it seemed never ending.  The Director finally arrived, a sigh of relief.  We just couldnt wait until our papers were signed.  Finally, the time we have been waiting for, I looked across the table and our official papers were being signed. No turning back now, it was a relief to know this part of the process was almost over and than it was!!!  We received the official word that we were all families to these beautiful children and they would be ours forever to take home and to love.  A speech was made and the official handing over of our signed documents making us a family was done for each of the families.  Finally we could breath a sigh of relief, and that was it, it was over, the wait was finally over, unbelievable that after all this time we would never have to worry or wonder again when we would be able to bring Jayda home with us. She was ours forever.
